The Martingale Strategy is the most common betting system for playing roulette. It is simple and straightforward.

This strategy owes its popularity to its simplicity and accessibility. When playing on Martingale, a deceptive impression of easy and quick wins is created.

The essence of the Martingale roulette system is as follows - we put roulette on equal chances (red-black, even-odd), for example, on “red”:

  1. We bet on roulette at 1 dollar
  2. If you lose, increase the bet by 2 times and bet $ 2. In the event of a loss at roulette, we lose the current bet ($ 2) and the previous bet ($ 1) in the amount of $ 3. In the case of a win, we win 4 dollars, i.e. wins back two bets (1 + 2 = 3 dollars) and we have 1 dollar of net winnings from roulette.
  3. If you lost to roulette and for the second time, according to the Martingale roulette system we again increase the bet by 2 times (now it is 4 dollars). In case of a win, we will win back the previous two (1 + 2 = 3 dollars) and the current (4 dollars) bets at roulette, and again we will win $ 1 at the casino.

If it were possible to increase bets indefinitely, then, having a fairly large gaming bank, a player could always beat the casino by playing roulette or other casino gambling. Sooner or later, the “red” on roulette will still fall out.

But the casino has found a successful way to deal with such roulette strategies - limiting the upper limit of casino bets. During the game of roulette, and other gambling, you will be able to increase the bet 4-5 times, after that the maximum limit will be reached, and in case of another loss, you will face the dilemma: continue to keep the maximum bet, or start play roulette with a minimum.

You can get around the upper limit on casino bets. One of the proven tactics is a collective game of roulette according to the Martingale system.

If the player playing roulette has reached the upper limit of bets, then another player will connect to the game of roulette, then the second, third... If there is a loss for the 10th time, then your roulette bet will reach the limit of 1024 dollars. If you win at the 11th bet (1024 dollars), the net win at roulette will be 1 (!) Dollar.

Does it make sense to bet more than a thousand dollars on roulette for the sake of winning one dollar? Moreover, there is no guarantee that at the 11th bet you will not lose roulette.

The Martingale roulette system is focused on achieving minimal roulette wins, but can bring maximum casino losses.

Pros of Martingale Roulette Strategy:

Martingale is a very simple system that absolutely any player can easily understand and apply. This system gives a lot of wins and few losses.

Cons of this roulette system:

Limiting the upper limit of bets reduces all the charm of Martingale to nothing. The Martingale system gives frequent, but small wins, but losses, although rare, are very, very large.
